2026 Council Meeting Schedule
The Port Carbon Borough Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Borough Hall, 202 Pike Street, Port Carbon, PA. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in local government. Please note that meeting dates may be adjusted due to elections, holidays, or other special circumstances. Any changes will be advertised in accordance with applicable law.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Borough of Port Carbon encourages citizen participation in local government. Residents have the right to address Borough Council during designated public comment periods held both before Council conducts its business and again near the conclusion of the meeting. Speakers are expected to be respectful and courteous to Council members, Borough staff, and fellow attendees. Public comments should be directed to Council and focused on matters of public concern to ensure a productive and orderly meeting for all participants.

The Finance Committee oversees the Borough’s finances, assists with preparing the annual budget, and makes recommendations to Borough Council regarding taxes, fees, and other financial matters.

Sanitation
The Sanitation Committee oversees waste collection, recycling, sanitation services, and sanitation billing. Special
