Borough Council Timeline

The information on this page was compiled from official Port Carbon Borough Council minutes, archived ordinances, election records, newspaper accounts, and other historical municipal records. Borough Council terms and council numbering are based on the reorganization schedule established by the Pennsylvania Borough Code of 1927, which provides for council reorganization every two years.

This historical record is intended to preserve the history of Port Carbon’s municipal government and honor those who have served the Borough. It was researched and compiled by Jim McBreen and will be updated as additional historical records are verified.
