Effective immediately, residents may no longer use barrels or drums for garbage collection.
Only standard garbage bags or trash cans with handles and lids are permitted.
Garbage in unapproved containers, such as barrels or drums, will not be collected.
This is a policy is being implemented by our trash hauler Casella Waste Systems, not the Borough of Port Carbon.
